The Challenge

A B2B company was seeking to increase the visibility of its services in AI Answer engines like Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. This would enable them to see an uplift in leads generated for their business.

The Strategy

INNMCO did an audit of the website content and current SEO efforts to understood client goals and challenges. We were able to identify areas for improvement and build a more effective AI answer engine strategy utilising Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

Initially, we implemented on-page SEO, technical SEO and off-page SEO. After observing early success with SEO, we implemented GEO strategies and created new content based on the prospective buyer’s journey.

The GEO approach was centred around writing and optimising blog posts to promote helpful content with the target audience.

The Results

This translated into a 30% increase in visibility in AI answer engines and 80% increase in website clicks. They were able to achieve their lead generation targets for the month from SEO, GEO and content marketing.
