Google Ads is the name of Google’s Pay Per Click (PPC) platform. This digital marketing tactic allows businesses to gain visibility across Google’s properties. The most common type of Google Ad is the Search Ad. In a Search Ad, advertisers pay search engines like Google for placing ads on search engine results pages (a.k.a Paid Search Ads). Paid Search Ads enables you (advertisers) to display your website or landing page listing at the top of search results.

This will drive more traffic to your website. The 9 types of Google Ads include Search Ads, Display Ads, YouTube Ads, App Ads, Shopping Ads, Discovery Ads, Local Ads, Performance Max Ads and Smart Ads.

Any business wanting to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads and grow sales can benefit from creating a Google Ads strategy. Google Ads enables you to reach prospective buyers who are actively searching for a product or service.
